Running List: Inspiration

Without sounding too much like a recipe blog with gratuitous details and stories that might be better served to a therapist than the reading public, this page is an ongoing reference point for myself and others about where I draw inspiration from. I lament the term '“hero”, though some of these people I very much look up to. This is relevant to my opening sentence because one of the few memories I retain from my childhood is around 3rd grade where I was supposed to write a one page essay on my personal hero. I drew a blank. Not for lack of important people in my life at that age, it just didn’t seem like any of them needed the extra stress of heroic admiration from a third grader…. Any how.

Free associating names starting with comedians.

Sean Lock, Bill Bailey, Dylan Moran, George Carlin, Dr. Robert Sapolsky, Marco Pierre White, Suzanne Mustacich, Joseph Drouhin, Becky Wasserman, Werner Herzog, Stephen Fry, Kermit Lynch, Yahtzee Croshaw, Charlie Parker, Thomas Aquinas, Rick Jay, James Randi, Houdini, Sherlock Holmes (not real, I know), Jon Bois, Coffeezilla, Gene Wilder, Jacques Pépin…

(No one I know IRL is going to be put onto this list until I meet at least 5 of these people, and for a few that would be a little difficult)
